I’ve learned that there’s a few basic steps involved in getting a home
sold … The Beginning … The Middle … and the
Finish … So my presentation to you will be a bit more inclusive
than just a Marketing Plan. Here’s a brief overview before we get down in the
details.
The Beginning - The process of selling a
home normally begins by preparing it for sale … This phase is usually quite
different for each home depending on its condition and the sale terms that you’re
looking for.
The Middle - The Middle involves the
period while your home is actually for sale … Once it’s offered for sale …
It’s necessary to ... Market it to bring in prospective buyers ... Show the
home to prospects and feed their information needs and then ... Solicit offers
and negotiate them to a ratified sales contract.
The Finish - The job isn’t finished
until we have a successful closing. This final stage requires a lot of
coordination and normally takes between 30 and 45 days. Once we’ve navigated
the sale of your home to a ratified contract, it’s time to really pour on the
effort. If the sale were to fall apart in the final stage, we’d have to go
back to the middle and start again … So it's very important … It ends when
you get the money. I’ve refined the Final phase into a repeatable process and
